A hunger fo discovery it’s what I have in common with Michael Kors. Travelling becomes a passion, almost a duty, with that enthusiastic craving that makes you want to fill a whole notebook with notes, stories, faces to not forget anything and keep a whole world at your fingertips, not only for myself; you know, this passion has to be shared and I love sharing some simple travelling moments with you. “Turin is my home” is the title of one of the most well-known books by Giuseppe Culicchia, but after some years, I could say “Milan is my second home”. And I’d like to tell you about it. “Milanese by adoption” they write during interviews. Nothing truer. Every moment, everytime I find out something new: corners, areas to name, benches on which to rest, streets to cross.
On the occasion of the opening of the first two Micheal Kors stores in Milan – in Corso Vittorio Emanuele (on the corner of Via San Carlo) and Via Della Spiga – on September 3 and 4, I enjoyed exploring Milan through new eyes, sharing my favourite spots right with Michael Kors. Through the lavish cloisters of the crowded Galleria San Federico and the silent streets behind Teatro Alla Scala I was sporting a “rock-chic” daytime look with a black jersey dress with leather details and studded finishings. But I was not alone: Selma was with me to keep my secrets hidden, like a little castle shielding everything I needed and I couldn’t do without – especially while travelling. After a trip to London, where its nature was red hot, for this occasion the saffiano leather turns white and black, like the contrast between light and darkness, day and night. These are only some hints of what Michael Kors Winter 2013 collection has in store for you: keep following me with the #mkMilan hashtag on Instagram (eleonora_grazia_it) and Twitter (eleonoracarisi) to discover other known or unknown places and all my looks around #Milan… and don’t hesitate to share your Kors-style looks!
