With all due respect to mustard, rust and burnt sierra, Fall’s traditional color palette just isn’t our jam. So Labor Day’s passing hardly means putting up the Spring wardrobe; it just means piling a few more of its pieces on. Sorry, Pantone. You can keep your Harvest Pumpkin. We’ll take our pastels paired with a tweed bag and calf hair heels and call it a compromise. Besides, springing into Fall means getting a little more wear out of this miniskirt before I’m too old to wear it. Which will be approximately the same time you finish reading this post.
