As a LACMA annual pass holder, I love swinging by on a Sunday afternoon for a quick saunter to appreciate all the current and new exhibits, from the sold out James Turrell’s Perceptual Cell to the permanent collection of modern art comprising of Lichtenstein, Matisse, Pollock among many others.
The museum houses some of my favorite cafes and eateries; Ray’s is absolute culinary heaven while the Stark bar will pour you a delicious glass of bubbly to pair with the most divine truffle sage pizza. And I never leave the premises without diving into a mocha affogato from Coffee + Milk — intense cacao flavor at its best!
Lazy Sundays call for an easy, outfit du jour that is never overdone but always chic, hence a denim jacket that exhibits a bit of acidity and loafers with that pony hair edge. The floral pants tie all these elements together. A subdued kind of aesthetic busyness that somehow works quite charmingly. Can you tell that I am all ready for the weekend? Have a joyful one, lovers!
