This is my “I don’t want summer to end but I have to accept it’s almost September” kind of look. This could be one of my favorite outfits I’ve shot thus far for my blog. I’m aware that’s a bold statement, but I think it truly captures my personality in a sort of candid way ranging from my facial expressions to my wardrobe choices and booties-this outfit is very me.
I love silk shorts, especially these floral Zara ones with subtle white lace fabric peaking out from the bottom. I decided to pair it with my lovely friend, Rachel’s oversized, knit LF sweater that is so comfortable and ideal to wear when crawling into our couch and turning on the TV. With the massive LF sale going on and fall inevitably creeping up on us, I’m making sure to be prepared and stock up on the best sweaters for the season while I can still get them at a reasonable price.
I ordered these shoes on Shoedazzle for only $19 as I’m apparently apart of some VIP program which is both slightly embarrassing to admit and kind of cool at the same time. Let’s not skip over the obvious: I love black booties, BUT these ones are different than the rest of my collection because they are barely boots as they cut off below my ankle. The chunky silver buckles and the open heel made it impossible for me not to buy these shoes-or at least that’s how I justify it in my fashion obsessed head!
There is something so cozy and snuggly about this outfit-perfect for a stroll around Abbot Kinney!
Happy Friday everyone! More to come but until next time…
