And finally, FINALLY a new post over here! Oh how I’ve missed those… well not so much really (did I just say that?). Ok let me make myself clear. As I had already told you guys on my last post over a week ago, I was on holidays with Dimitris and some friends of us at Chalkidiki. There was no internet connection or wifi at our place so I already knew I wasn’t going to blog a lot, but since I was pretty sure I couldn’t stay away from internet for too long, I thought I was going to publish at least a couple of new posts. BUT. Holidays are a tricky tricky thing and between long hour sessions at the beach, cocktails and afternoon bbq’s, it’s obviously quite easy to stay away from the online world. So I ended up not opening my laptop at all for about a week (!) , seriously this has never happened before! But I figured it was the best way to fully relax, spend some quality time with my friends and Dimitris and enjoy the simple pleasures like reading a book at the beach or playing Taboo until 3 in the morning. It was kind of weird not missing blogging or internet but I think it’s really important to take some time away once in a while, clear your mind and get energy for the time to come. It’s the best way to keep a healthy relationship with the online world but also to keep your relationships with the real people strong and alive.
Now moving on to today’s post, the first holidays look had to be a swimsuit one right? I wanted a white swimsuit for as long as I can remember, but until now I never had the guts to actually purchase one. It’s one of the most difficult items to try because let’s face it, even though I love white, it doesn’t flatter the body at all, plus the time when you get out of the sea in a white swimsuit is sca-ry (and not only for me, Dimitris had a little heart attack every time I walked around with this swimsuit wet haha). But this one from Asos is luckily really well-made, the fabric and cut are steady and it’s not transparent at all, even when it’s wet. I’m really glad I took the risk of buying it, the ‘WSF’ (White Swimsuit Fear) is over!
