For some reason, the weather and my schedule have been completely against me and it’s taken me a little longer than I had hoped to get my next few outfit posts up. However, to wear these ultra comfy jersey pieces from Canadian mega brand Jacob was totally worth the wait! This outfit is so incredibly comfortable I’m tempted to sleep in it, but looks put-together even with minimal accessories. Oh, and the top and leggings combined go for less than $80 – score!
I could go on and on about how soft the leggings are, but what I’m honestly most impressed about is how they don’t sheer out. Legging-wearing ladies, you know what I’m talking about. I don’t have to worry about the fabric stretching out and unsuspecting passers-by seeing whatever underwear I chose to wear that day. They’re really high quality, thickly woven but very breathable, and reach all the way down to the ankle – none of that 3/4 length legging nonsense I see so often.
I actually worked at Jacob during my first year university and loved it. The store was great, the customers were lovely, the discount was (obviously) helpful, and the environment as a whole was just so upbeat and happy. I now shop there regularly, especially during their amazing 40% off sales, and am proud to be able to wear a brand that’s based right here in Canada. They even have a “Made in Canada” collection for those looking to purchase clothing not only from a Canadian brand, but that have been actually made right here as well.
As for the other things I’m wearing, the sunglasses are the same ones that have been glued to my face since the summer began (Westward Leaning’s “Children of California” frames featuring Californian red wood fragments) and my go-to black leather sandals from Aldo. The bag I’m carrying is the Belgravia bag from JustFab’s July collection. I’ve used it every day since it arrived. On my lips I’m wearing a mix of NARS Heat Wave lipstick and a cherry red lip gloss from Clarins – will post about that shortly.
What do you think of the outfit? Being that it’s almost August and it’s been so long since I last wore leggings, I forgot how deliciously comfortable they are. Dare I say it, I’m almost excited for fall to arrive!
