For the longest time, my mother and I have greatly enjoyed perusing arts & craft fairs across California with displays ranging from handmade, one of a kind jewelry to old, well preserved leather handbags. You could call it a hobby but in my eyes, it’s an obsession-one that is only fun to indulge in when with my own mother!
This past Saturday, we headed over to the Renegade Craft Fair by Dodger’s Stadium in the “Corn Fields,” only to be completely shell shocked by the quality, quantity and exceptionally uniquely decorated booths. I have never seen so many innovative creations in my life such as handmade wooden painted sunglassesm, stenciled pillows and even beaded wrap around ropes to accessorize your booties! It’s no secret that I fancy dainty jewelry and this venue sure provided endless options for me.
It was at least 90 degrees downtown so thank god I threw on an airy Lucca Couture floral romper that helped keep the heat off. I love the floral print, hidden pockets and especially the little navy buttons that snake down the front of this comfy and stylish romper. I paired it with these amazing white embellished Boots by Bronx booties I bought on ASOS that I absolutely adore. I collect booties and despite the fact that many of my friends weren’t thrilled about them, I was so excited to get these incredibly unique white buckled ones in the mail last week. Booties and rompers go so well together.
For my accessories, I paired my vintage black shoulder purse that has subtle silver hearts scattered across it along with my staple Balenciaga bracelet, this vintage shark tooth necklace and these flower sunglasses. When I saw these sunglasses at the craft fair I was immediately drawn to them and HAD to have them. Seriously, how fun are these shades? Perfect for summer and to pair with my floral romper!
HAPPY MONDAY! More outfit posts to come but until next time…
