kqns 's Thoughts:

I had such an amazing trip last week to my motherland, Puerto Rico. A very small island situated in the Caribbean with beautiful beaches, delicious food and friendly people. I visited my family, friends and celebrated my godson’s 1st birthday. On Friday I went to San Juan which is the capital city established by Spanish colonists in the 1500’s where there are several historic buildings including the city’s former defensive forts. I visited Fort San Felipe Del Morro (see photos below) where you can see Old San Juan’s Bay. The grounds of El Morro are a great spot to fly a kite and families are out every weekend doing so. Inside the castle you will find intriguing labyrinth of dungeons, barracks, vaults, old firing cannons etc…

Puerto Rico is extremely hot and humid during July so I decided to wear a crop top and shorts with a fringe detail on the side, trust me is so hot that you want to walk around wearing nothing. The top and shorts are from Forever 21, the fedora hat is from Urban Outfitters, the sandals are from Zara and the accessories from Valija Gitana.

Enjoy the photos! Thanks for reading XO

:) I love this outfit, very appropriate for the weather (I know it gets super hot in PR). Super cute accessories , Valija Gitana was one of my favorite stores, to bad it doesn't exist in the states. I loved the introduction that you gave about Old San Juan so people can have an idea and imagine. :)
