After several viewings of DW Griffiths collection of short films (volume 1) I was feeling all turn of the century inspiired….
mostly the outfits that stood out to me were the children’s outfits, with white smock dresses, black ankle boots and big bows in their hair.
this was my attempt at recreating the look with what i had in my wardrobe…
the dress was part of the go international collection that Erin Fetherston did….i added the buttons on the front myself, because the original ones all fell off.
the tights, though hard to see, are these awesome beige rib knit tights with sparkles! and the boots were purchased secondhand, but are originally from Anthropologie!
the bow in my hair is actually an old white scarf one of my grandmothers gave to me years ago!

You look like an adorable little dolly.
The buttons you added totally make the dress. If you put your finger over this where the buttons are the dress doesn't quite seem the same.

I had this dress! I wore it once but the chest was too tight for me...so I had the arms cut off and sewn and it became a summer dresss. I just sold it to buffalo exchange and new clothes instead. but I loved it. and I think it looks really cute on you.
