School’s out and it’s time to take a break and enjoy yourself! Chances are, a good amount of you will be attending an outdoor music festival or two so here’s a set of tips from the CoedUgly crew!
What to wear:
Comfort is key but at the same time you want to look good, right? I’m wearing my boyfriend’s plaid cowboy shirt, high waisted shorts accented with a belt, and my trusty comfy cutout oxfords. I’m also wearing a tank top underneath but you could easily opt for a bikini to flaunt when you take your top off. After all, on top of the existing summer heat, it’s going to get REALLY hot and sweaty in the pit so less clothes is key.
What NOT to wear:
DO NOT WEAR HEELS!! Yeah sure they’re cute and all but you’re going to spend hours standing up or dancing so don’t even try it. Take advantage of the gladiator trend and wear some cute flat ones! Also, try not to overdo the outfit too much. Layering is fun and all but you won’t be enjoying it when you’re sweating up a storm. KISS = keep it simple stupid ‘cause even though you’ll look cute you’re going to feel dumb and uncomfortable.
What to bring:
If you can, use a medium sized bag with a long strap so you can easily sling it over your body. Inside keep only what you feel you really need like a compact or lip gloss for touch ups. Also, please don’t forget SUNSCREEN! You’re going to end up tired and sweaty anyway and the last thing you want is a sunburn to top it all off.
But most importantly, have fun!! (can’t you tell how much fun I’m having?)
