Oh dear, I hope no body is suggesting you see the movie over or before reading the book. It's a classic, truly incredible. She was a young girl who, though objectified by her molester-stepfather, is overtly sexual and devious on her own account as well. On another note, this is my favorite outfit that you've posted.

Wow love your outfit! The colors are lovely! My guess would be that Lolita, though she indeed was kind of a whore, dressed in such an innocent way that it was provocative. So though she looked sweet and innocent, she was quite devious on the inside. I'm not exactly sure, but I did read the book and watch the film two years ago.

Again, another Lolita look. I’ve been wondering about the whole Lolita thing. Once, after my mom complimented me on an outfit, I told her it was a Lolita look, and she became utterly shocked, saying that Lolita was a book about a child whore. I’ve heard of the book before, but dosn’t the Lolita way of dressing just mean girlish and flirty? I’ve never seen anything remotely slutty.
