dedicated to those who think that wearing designers’ labels makes you a chic person
You may have noticed that my outfits are almost always low budget.
There are two reasons to explain it:
1_ (obvious) being a student without any fix salary I cannot afford expensive clothes
2_ (not so obvious, at least not for everybody) it’s challenging. I strongly believe everyone is able to pull off a great outfit with some thousands Euros/dollars at disposal: you just need to go to a designer’s boutique and buy some chic pieces –or, if you cannot even pair them together alone, ask for a stylist and let her/him advise you.
But if you have a limited budget then you really have to be talented to come up with an impressive outfit. You have to rummage through every shop, learn how to match colours, shapes and textiles in order to make your H&M outfit looking like a Dior/Chanel/Marc Jacobs/Chloe or whatsoever chic one!
Budget constraints stimulate creativity, scream DIY and strengthen your brain.
You can buy designer clothes, but you cannot buy a unique style!
