so yesterday i realized the err of my ways when i got to work and went out onto the yard, baking in my wool tights and sweater in the heat of the day. it’s a little too warm for all those clothes. i may have jumped the gun with this outfit, but i felt like pulling out a little bit of the old and mixing it with a little bit of the new and dressing for flat out summertime!!! (ok, so at first, the main photo was going to be sans blazer, but i realized that adding the black blazer would anchor everything together and make this outfit a little more transitional.)
anyhow, the shorts and the sandals are from last year. just a beat up pair of 501 cutoffs and my matt bernson gladiators. and i just found this rad little vintage coach purse at a thrift store over the weekend. the top is from urban outfitters. i bought it before it inevitably went on sale, and i actually got two in the mail by some wonderful mistake. but who needs two of the same shirt, really?
ok, so i’m beach ready. on my back porch. no beach in sight. so here’s to blazers for a little help with the transition.
