I work in a speech and language therapy team for kids and young people.
I love my job and I love my clothes. Sometimes the two don’t always meet, but I could never abandon my style for five days a week.
Finding the middle ground means leaving the delicate vintage pieces in the wardrobe and sticking to machine washables. For the days that I work with teenagers, it also means showing no skin.
I usually need a big bag too, to chuck all my balloons, bubbles and casenotes in.
This is what I wore yesterday, to do a home visit on an adorable preschooler with autism.
That’s my car in the background of some of the shots – it’s a green Nissan Figaro, and the love of my life! <3
PS I am full of a cold, which is why I look so miserable! :(
