This dress caught my eye in the thrift shop because of it’s amazing floral pattern. I don’t think it’s a particularly old piece but the floral print seems so 60s or 70s to me: bright, colorful, and a bit kitschy. I don’t typically buy straight-silhouette dresses but this was an exception.
I was going to pair this dress with my boater hat, but then I saw this old flower crown and I thought it fit much better. My mom made this crown for a Polish costume for me when I was maybe about 7 or 8, so I’ve had to adjust it to be a bit bigger. It’s actually my most subtle flower crown if that’s believable. My two others are much bigger, Lana del Rey style. Still, I think they’re fun to wear!
