In two weeks, my girlfriends and I plan to take a well-deserved weekend getaway to Sausalito. We don’t really need too good an excuse to shop and pamper ourselves – nobody does ;p.
Being a made-up special occasion 8), we’ve each found a floral dress to wear while we whisp through art galleries and quaint boutiques- I was the last to find mine, and I think it’s abso-fantabulistically PERFECT for me!
The world stopped when I saw it.
An exaggeration of course, but you pick up what I put down, yes?
So here’s another stylista exercise for all you stylistas:
Which shoes?! (Again, hehe)
The flat strap sandals make the dress more playful, childish, charming.
The boots make the dress more urban, trendy, festive.
The pumps make the dress classy, collected, the “less is more” type of simplicity.
Or should I just use this dress as an excuse to buy me some new wedges ;p?!
Isn’t it amazing how many different perceptions you can have of one dress because of the shoes you pair it with? Sigh of appreciation.
I’m not sure which I’ll decide to wear. It actually depends on what my girlfriends wear with their dresses. I like consistency in the off chance we do decide to dress alike. So if they decide to wear wedges or espadrilles, off to the mall I go!
