It has been a while since I’ve worn a skort – and now that I’ve got this Zara Fold Over Skort in my clutches, I’m realizing that it has been too long. Much like its genius culinary cousin the spork, its multipurposed magic is both underrated and underused. I’m also loving the origami aspect – it’s both minimalist and interesting and supremely flattering. And I’m not going to lie, I have been fighting with myself to not go out and buy this skort in ever single color (yes, there are more colors!).
Let’s talk a minute about fluoro-hued pieces, shall we? In the past, neons have struck my fancy for a fleeting moment before they began to feel a little garish and wear on the senses. However this time around, I’m loving everything flouriented (new word!) so long as it comes with another element of interest, such as a unique texture or pattern. It makes it easier to pair with a wider range of items, leaving the color to serve as a complementary aspect as opposed to the focus of the ensemble.
What’s your favorite color of the moment and how do you like to wear it?
