While I appreciate a slim silhouette, I think this outfit makes your head rather big for your body.. I think it's cos of the shoulder cutting of your top.. I will always love your skinny jeans though! :D

Okay. It’s officially spring. And whenever there’s a hint of sun, I pretty much break out the draped tops, sunglasses, and try to avoid garlic and silver.

I recently had my DRKSHDW pants tailored (tapered the leg a smidge) and now they fit the general silhouette of my wardrobe much better. I had mistakenly purchased the Berlin cut, not the Detroit (straight and skinny fit, respectively) and was finding it rather hard to wear these jeans. For a while, there was the temptation to just get rid of them and put the money towards something else.

But when I realized that I needed to get a shirt button moved and the lining of some trousers fixed, I thought I might as well give it to my tailor (thanks, Ellie!) and see what she could do. If anything, this whole affair reminded me that tailoring – not shopping – is the solution to 90% of my fashion frustrations.
