Orange and blue is a color combo that I find to me pretty underused in fashion. Blue and orange of course are across from each other on the color wheel, making them perfect compliments. But too often the pairing of these two colors results in a combination that is bright and loud at best—probably why so many sports teams pair the two. Yet when you use a saturated but not overly bright blue and a tawny orange, the result is nice and fresh without being tacky.
I may not wear pants often, but I cannot resist a pair of crazy pants, whether they’re drop crotch or harem style. Crazy pants are challenging to style but that’s what makes them so much fun in my opinion. To balance the structure of these pants I DIY’d this top into a nonpermanent crop top using a couple bobby pins. I’m also starting to see that stripes really just work with every pattern ever. So long solid colors!
