If there’s one color I can’t get enough of right now, it is definitely pink. Not something I ever thought would have ever come out my mouth had you asked me even a year ago, but there it is. From dusty rose to blushes so soft they’re almost nude, it’s so very much my jam at the moment. And it’s the most flattering, wearable color, with a hue for every skin tone.
Pastel pink has served as a gateway for me, opening the door to a rainbow of harder pastels like powder blue, soft sorbets and on occasion, even baby chick yellow. This spring, pastels are manifested in more casual and modern silhouettes, as opposed to past, more feminine trends that teeter on the side of overly saccharine.
I’d like to take a moment to give a nod to this effortlessly easy slip of a dress from Lover + Friends that makes looking pulled together ten times easier, as well as this gorgeous Yumi necklace by my newest designer obsession, Fiona Paxton. As for the Elizabeth and James Sand Shoes? They’ve hardly come off my feet since they arrived from ModPair. I can’t wait to see what else this future foot candy paradise has in store.
