ok, so this is about what i’ve been looking like lately. i should probably put on some makeup before i take my picture, but i always wait until the last minute, right before i’m running out the door to decide that i need some color on my face.
anyways, i’m really dragging lately. i’m patiently planning out all my spring outfits, but it’s still a bit chilly for me. i’ve got my eyes on a light gray cashmere wrap sweater on ebay to replace my countless black cardigans. and i just bought a cream colored blazer at the thrift store the other day, so it’s coming together. in theory.
here’s my in-between-seasons outfit for the day. it may have been potentially warm enough to go sans stockings, but i woke up this morning to notice a big ugly bruise on my knee! not to mention that i am soooo tame when i dress for work because my students just can’t stop critiquing my outfits. it’s too tiring for me to do anything about it, but it’s so annoying that i end up being verrrry toned down.
but that’s all going to change in a minute here. i gave my two weeks notice at my job yesterday, so i can focus on school for the next two years. hello, fashion! i will have more time to go thrifting and i wont have to worry about what i wear. so for now i’m just biding my time…. a little calm before the storm.
