Last Saturday, I headed to the District to be a tourist for the day and see the Annual Cherry Blossom Festival! The festival included themed souvenirs you could purchase, cultural performances and food, but unfortunately not as many fully grown Cherry Blossom trees. I would say the best part of the day (besides eating Cherry Blossom cupcakes) was seeing all the cultural dances on stage. I was later inspired to “dance” in the park as my photographer friend shot these images. Although due to the heavy volume of tourists, dancing was probably not the best idea… Photos were taken and a few claps were heard, and that’s the best way I can summarize that experience!
