This week I visited my famalam in the Czech Republic and it was fabulous just relaxing with a pint of beer and some delicious food. Needless to say, I’ll likely put on at least fifty pounds following the insane debauchery that my trip turned out to be, thanks to my grandparents’ heart-wrecking worries that I will “snap in half” unless I eat several platefuls of carbs and protein. If you ever visit this glorious country, I think you should be warned that Czech cuisine isn’t for the faint-hearted… or literally anyone trying to stay in shape. With its greasy dumplings, succulent meat and thick creamy sauces, it’s as likely to give you a foodgasm (food orgasm, anyone?) as it is a heart attack. Having said that though, I think it’s certainly worth the risk.
