I thought of calling this “Tequila Makes for Unsteady Hands,” but thought this better.
Things have been crazy, CRAZY hectic the past few weeks/days/hours that I haven’t been able to update.
I’m in NYC about to begin my internship and the entire weekend has been an adventure. From experiencing NY pizza in NY to riding a white stretch limo from the hotel to the apartment, NYC has surely been a culture shock.
Day 1 Cliff Notes
My 7:15 am flight did nothing to calm my nerves. Packing and waking up in the morning are probably my least favorite things to do in the entire world. I enjoy trips to the dentist much more. Over packed bags, broken zippers and the whole idea of moving to NYC caused so much anxiety to build in my bones.
The rest of the weekend consisted of SHOPPING, discovering the city, eating in Chinatown, my long awaited reunion with bubble tea, unpacking and excitement.
My first day at the brand management firm begins tomorrow and I’ll keep you posted on what is likely to be a narrative on my utter absence of a sense of direction.
1: “Take one of my outfit!”
2: One of the roomies! Check out those shoesssss.
3: Earlier that night when I still had my senses & wore flats.
