This past Tuesday, I came away from Goodwilling with a haul — belts, dresses, skirts, shirts, the whole sh-bang. Although the majority are currently not wear-able (i.e. I look like a grandmother in most of them and they are in serious need of some surgery), I was able to salvage a few pieces to make an outfit out of it… since I’m sure most of us can’t help but want to wear all our new items after a shopping trip!
I always have to look good for my Ethics class, because you have to look good to do Philosophy (not — that’s a logical invalid), so I decided to pair my new lacy shirt, a brown feather belt, and a mustard-yellow skirt, all from Goodwill the previous day. I added the black collared shirt due to the chill of the day and the lace is see-through — I’ll definitely be doing this same outfit this summer, only with a white tank-top. I added wood and/or brown accessories, including my favorite pair of vintage-looking boots, a wooden turtle necklace, and a pair of wood fake gauges.
Also, for anyone worried, I did wear my glasses — just took them off for the picture. I promise no Kay was hurt in the taking of these images!
