simplyjolleen 's Thoughts:

I’ve been waiting a very long time to debut this shoot-last summer to be exact! Like most of you, when I was a little girl, I used to host tea parties regularly. Dressing up in floral prints, pastel colors and drinking out of small printed tea cups are all why I still love tea parties today! Tea parties are a great past time and with a little creativity can be a fun and whimsical event to bring back.
I styled this shoot to match one of my favorite childhood books, “Alice in Wonderland.” I believe that when events have a little “whimsy” to them, they make for an entertaining and unpredictable time. I reccomend using unique color pairings, items that aren’t seen as decor from first glance, and tasty treats that are unexpected. Follow me this month, and I’ll show you some DIY decorations, fun recipes and festive outfits for your next spring event!

P.S. Props to one of my fave photographers for doing this photo shoot. Find her here!

Simply,

Jolleen
