Long time no see, eh? Where have I been?
Hello once again! I apologise profusely for my absence! I’d like to refrain from complaining about my coursework and upcoming GCSE exams, but in short, it’s been very hectic recently. So, moving on…
I wore this outfit to see ‘Yes, Prime Minister’ with my Drama group yesterday. I love programmes that satirise politics which is why I love ‘Mock The Week’ and ‘Have I Got News For You’, and so I very much enjoyed it. I’d highly recommend going to watch it if you can.
I’ve been somewhat channelling the 9 year old girl look recently; I can’t get enough of cute pinafores and dainty blouses! I’ve been scouring plenty of charity shops recently and have picked up some amazing finds! I usually don’t have so much luck in them so consistently but recently I’ve managed to pick up some quirky, one-off pieces. I chose this pinafore from Topshop a month of so back and I’ve finally ventured out to wear it (blogger problems). I’d mentioned in a previous post of how I’m lusting over a cute, pinafore dress and I’ve got one now! It was rather extortionate at £42 and it was ridiculously short when I tried it on, but my mother ever so kindly sewed some black, vintage lace trim on the bottom. It has instantly lengthened the dress (I loathe short garments) and makes the piece more original! I adore it and I’m sure it will be popping up in some new outfit posts shortly!
