Raising the Hem

Ultra short hemlines can be tricky if you’re flirting with the 5’10" mark like me, as you run the risk of either looking like you forgot your pants, or like a corner dweller–if you catch my drift. That being said, I have always been a big fan of hiked up hems and with the overwhelming amount of shorter skirts and dresses that came down the runway for Fall 13, I have no intention of forgoing them any time soon. Nevertheless, I think it best to keep a few things in mind when approaching a shorter hemline. Check the blog for a few tricks that I have found make ultra short skirts and dresses easier to wear, regardless of height.
