Oxblood? No. Burgundy!

I couldn’t even tell you how many times I have heard the term Oxblood to describe the ever so popular and new on trend colour. So many times that it starts to loose all meaning and inadvertently start to sound like an unappetizing foreign delicacy dish..
On the flip side when ever someone utters that simple word to describe a colour that has existed for so many years all I can think about is the phrase, “I am Brutis. I am strong like Ox!” Being spoken in a thick Russian accent (nonetheless) and it make me giggle every time!
Regardless of whatever term gets coined next, or whatever word you want to use to describe a certain colour, it is still so beautiful and am loving it being fashioned into this lush leather jacket!
But really, it’s just burgundy. haha.
