Mixing and Matching Patterns & Prints

So today is actually Chinese New Year! (Year of the snake). My grandparents’ were having a big Chinese New Years brunch at their house, so I decided to sport this cool ensemble. “Red” is a good luck color in the Chinese culture, so I decided to sport this waffle print Forever 21 sweater top with my “Sanrio for Target” Hello Kitty leopard print pants. I finished off my look with my Forever 21 teal pointed-toe pumps. I accessorized with my Forever 21 tapestry purse, which I got in their clearance bin for $6.80, a total bargain! I wanted to keep my look clean and simple, but with stylish pops of color…and you know what? I think I achieved that. ;-)
