As you guys might have noticed, one thing I really enjoy on my looks is having a neutral basis on which a special item can really stand out. That could be a statement necklace, a bold bag or like in this case, a gorgeous pair of red pumps. Accessories have a huge power over an outfit, and even though we usually focus on the clothes and kind of neglect that part, it would be much better (and honestly mush easier) to do it the other way around.
So for today’s look I created a basic grey-cream combo which becomes more interesting and original thanks to the different style of the masculine pants and the feminine lace top. I love mixing masculine and feminine elements in one look and I haven’t really done it in a while now, have I? Also I really like the grey-on-grey effect the pants and coat create, I’ve got to say that grey quickly climbs up my favorite colors list and soon it’ll find its place next to my all time beloved blue. That’s why I didn’t really think it twice about purchasing this amazing grey coat from Asos – except for the color, the faux fur collar and belt made me fell for it right away.
