Unbeknownst to many people (including you, my awesome, awesome readers), I was very much a wallflower in my high school days. I didn’t particularly enjoy socializing or participating in settings both in and outside of the classroom. Most times I felt ostracized or misunderstood. It wasn’t until my Senior year that I truly blossomed into the social butterfly I am now. However, those days of being suffocated in a cocoon made my transformation that much sweeter.
Nowadays, my outfits seem to do the talking for me. It’s true when they say that first impressions matter. As much as I am the budding, loquacious social bee today, there will always be a wallflower inside of me.
