Olive Branch

Today’s look is a simple cocktail dress. We have a structured lace bodice and fitted skirt to hug the female silhouette. If you’re like me and have an hourglass figure, or if you have more prominent hips, then I find that it’s better to have dresses that hug your curves than over-accentuate them. I also love the olive color of the dress, it brings out the gold tones in your skin complexion.

Again, to elongate the legs, nude heels are preferable. Here are some classic pumps from Steve Madden. I like that they look like those gorgeous Miu Miu ones, but are more affordable ;)

I prefer to keep the makeup fresh and glowy. Since the dress is a strong color, it’s better to have a nude lip than a bold one. Lastly, I pulled back some of my hair with this floral accessory from H&M to open up my face and soften the look with a feminine touch.
