About a Cape

Even though I’m a crazy fan of capes, I have to admit that they aren’t probably the warmest kind of outerwear you can find. They don’t cover your hands and their fabric is usually kind of light. That’s why if you want to wear them during these cold winter days, you have to focus on all the other pieces of your outfit and choose the warmest you can find. A knit under the cape is necessary, either a jumper and jeans or a wool dress (I opted for the dress, I’m such a brave girl), warm boots, both tights and socks and some winter accessories like gloves. And here you go, maybe not ready for an extremely cold day but definitely for a medium cold one. And if it’s not enough for you, add a hat, a scarf and opaque tights and you could even go to the mountains like this… (just kidding but who knows, you might have an extreme cold tolerance).
