What I’m Wearing – Shirt w/ floral print & sheer panels from ASOS, price: $21; Polka dot jumper from Dotti (worn as scarf), price: unknown; Detachable spotty collar from unknown; Houndstooth overall skirt w/red & green detailing made by me; Creepers (2inch) from Demonia, price: $95.
Finally, I’ve managed to put together an outfit post with a decent backdrop and some actual relevance. I was woken up very early this morning by the doorbell, only to discover that it was in fact my ASOS order being delivered. I bought the shirt i’m wearing in the photos and also a skirt. I’m actually really happy with both garments, they look exactly like the did on the site (which is something lacking on some sites).
I also made the skirt i’m wearing in the photos. The fabric is a small houndstooth check and it has suspender/overall things attached, a zipper in the back, a flared pencil cut and a little flap in the front with some textural work I did with some pieces of plaid and stretch fabrics. It also has a frayed hem (don’t worry, I stay-stitched it so i’m not shedding threads), the houndstooth frayed well naturally so I thought i’d put it to good use. I actually really like the skirt and that’s surprising because usually when I decide to sew something randomly without a pattern it turns to something not so lovable.
