A basic trench is a must have for every closet! I hate to limit it to just women or just those specifically fixated on the conceptual construct that is fashion, I really think trench coats go beyond fashion in many ways. Trench coats are practical, classic and generally quite flattering as far as most outerwear is concerned.
Now when it comes to leather and outerwear it can easily become a little too matrixy (which in a weird “ME GUSTA” kind of way I dig but just because I’m obsessed with proving my own naturally inclined aesthetic preferences wrong. I like taking things perceived to be tacky and making them classy. This however is a very long parenthetical detour so let’s get back to the original topic) or weird 2000’s sociopath(which again I’m kind of feeling “ME GUSTA” – y about) However, this leather trench-coat has a much more classic appeal and the color is so rich that it can be such a subtle yet statement making piece!
I love this coat and am sad to let it go. Unfortunately TX doesn’t get cold enough and/or for long enough to get any real use out of it and with my lifestyle I really need to slim my closet down, she’s getting a little unhealthy :/
