The weather here as been so rainy as of late. Combined that with my sickly resemblance of Rudolph and 3pm daily darkness hasn’t allowed much time photoging. So instead of holiday perfection I’m sharing the very first look that was captured with my new camera. Mr. T and I were like a sad little side show trying to figure everything out and uhhhhhhh…. looks like we didn’t do a great job with detail shots this round. Oops!
I wore this to brunch with some great gals not long ago. Some happen to be bloggers and I’ll share a few pictures from brunch in the next post. Comfortable cute in basic brights was my focus for the occasion. Who says Winter has to be filled with dark and dreary colors? Not me! There’s no way to ignore this bright denim and you may recall them from this previous post.
This slouchy, boho bag is a rarity for me. Normally I gravitate towards more structured shapes but the leather is so soft and the color is fabulous. It’s one of my favorites. Along with a pair of my new favorite heels I felt like this was a great combination of pumped up casual.
Always in need of a jacket in San Francisco blazers are a great option. I love a good elbow patch for detail and it keeps the look grounded mixed with the bright colors. The clothes are pretty basic but adding this GORGEOUS necklace for some sparkle ups the ante. Isn’t it pretty?
You can get away with pretty much anything for brunch these days. It all depends on the venue, company and occasion. Do you find yourself gravitating towards dark colors during the Winter? How you do feel about pairing a sparkly statement necklace with more casual items? So next time you’re heading out the door for a friendly rendezvous don’t forget your basic brights!
