Had my mother re-dye my hair today. It was quite an experience, but she did a good job. (:
Spending my first Christmas in my new city of Chicago, we went home shopping at Luxe Home of Merchandise Mart. Heaven.
Found these boots just the other day after seeing a blue one a few months ago which I immediately fell in love with except I wished it came in black. Wish come true. Like a shoeholic’s Christmas miracle. Not only did it come in black, but it came in a matte black with nice black rope laces. Jeffrey Campbell does it again! I found it to look amazing against some of the wood floorings we saw today in the showroom.
Then there’s the bolo tie…I’ve been looking for the perfect “gothic” one for a while and I stumbled across this which isn’t so gothic in a dark way, but the silver and black colors were good enough I knew it would fit nicely with the rest of my wardrobe. Plus, it was only 5 bucks on Etsy!
And this vampire coffin ring, which is perfectly gothic, was a jem I found at Claire’s! I enjoy browsing their selection from time to time because they’re are always unique, cheap things to be found there. This ring came with a tacky, cliche sparkly red color on top, but I decided to Sharpie it black a bit to make it fit in with my wardrobe better. Besides that, the ring is perfect! It has so much detail for such a small price. And it opens!
