Velvet & Gold

I wore this outfit to a family dinner at the VanDusen Garden in Vancouver, it’s still a bit conservative, but way more festive; I wore my faaavorite velvet dress and this awesome bracelet my mom had in her jewellery box, with a gold brooch to add a contrast/Christmas feel. And then some sheer stripey tights and ruffle-toed heels because I couldn’t think of any shoes that I could wear that wouldn’t completely turn the outfit to mush.

I’d also wear this outfit to a friends or staff Christmas party because it’s fun without being over-the-top Christmas, but instead pulls romantic seasonal colors so you appear more elegant.
