They Were Supposed To Meet On The Bridge

This dress was a “give-away” from my mother’s school mates. Their daughter had a lot of clothes she grew out from and obviously they felt bad throwing them away. They gave it to me with words “it’s a pretty dress, you can wear it around the house!”. But my sense of fashion and style told me to it was too good 2b hidden away in the house! So I put on a belt, while trying it on, and I replied: “Are you kidding? This is totally Sophie Loren! Ain’t wearing it in the house!”.
