It's Standard

So I decided to hit up The Standard Downtown LA Hotel last night and let me tell you… it was sick. From the rooftop views to the mod decor, it’s definitely been added to my list of LA hotspots. I love being in downtown LA because it really reminds me of New York City, minus the crazy crowds and foul smells along the streets. Nothing like being surrounded by bright lights, skyscrapers, and feeling like you’re on top of the world while you’re only on a rooftop 20 stories high – but hey, I’ll take it! How cool is this retro organ above – it’s in the lobby of the hotel. Nothing like placing a vintage piece in an upscale setting. Another pic above is of my mom & I, love having her out in LA with me.
