1960s Vintage Mod Scooter Dress

I found this dress at a second hand store last week with the price tag of 55 bucks. I’m terrible at bargaining, so I only managed to get it down to 50. I really need to work more on that skill! It is a gorgeous mod scooter dress, made by the exclusive women’s department of the biggest Japanese department store Isetan possibly in the late 60s or early 70s. I wanted to recreate mod looks like Twiggy and Audrey, so I wore it with my 60s helmet hat. My helmet hat is probably more appropriate for winter, but I just couldn’t resist! Gotta love the twisted ribbon details!
