Fashionista_Not 's Thoughts:

We all know that the military look is in. However not every one feels comfortable in manly buttoned up shirts, chains, studs and the camouflage patterns from heads to toe.
Even though I feel very comfortable in all of the above, I want to show you that you can also follow the trend in a more modest version :) You will also see that you don’t have to buy many expensive pieces for a trend that could go out of fashion next season, leaving you with no money and useless pieces in your wardrobe ;) You can create the military look without investing in the whole outfit, you can get away with buying only one piece, mixing it smartly to achieve what you want for less :)
You don’t necessarily have to accesorise that heavily and you can just pick and choose the parts of the trend that you like!
The most important part is to have a base element and I think that one of the best things for that are military green skinny trousers. You can wear them with absolutely everything easily creating a glamorous, casual or simple and classy look. And I believe that you will get use out of them this season and many seasons to come :)
So now that you have a base piece for our ‘modest military look’, you can think about the accessories.
I decided not to go overboard with jewellery and went for a simple necklace and military green bracelet watch from Parfois.
I focused on the handbag instead, choosing a camouflage pattern oversized clutch from Parfois (they also have handbags with the same print in different shapes and sizes).
When it comes to the boots, there is an abundance of boots that are perfect for the military look which at the same time could easily go with anything else, creating a completely different getup.
I got my boots two years ago in Aldo, they are very comfortable and because of their simplicity, I can mix them with many different options; they do look pretty heavy but you would be surprised how easily you can create a more elegant ensemble ;)
I finished it off with a black sweater, but to further tone down the manly military look I chose one with a little gold threading and ribbons on the back:)
Hope you like it!
Have a great day Every one! :)
