Dressing for a cold winter day. Hmm. Winter isn’t the most glamorous season to dress for, mainly because you need to keep warm. And let’s face it, ‘utility’ is rarely found in fashion’s vocabulary. I can always rely on a wool coat and jumper to keep warm but I am also ‘secret layering’. Underneath my jumper I had a long sleeved jersey, and under my jeans a pair of thermal leggings and tights to cheat the chill.
So I finally got to wear my Primark tan wedge hi-tops, which are possibly the comfiest wedges I have ever worn. I could run a marathon in them! Which brings me onto this new motherlovin’ mustard beauty. It’s everything I could ever want from a jumper- chunky texture, great fit and a wonderful shade of mustard.
And who said sunglasses are only for summer? They’re my winter accessory staple. Especially these nude ones from Asos.com. It’s easy to get into a rut of black sunglasses, but these nude ones add an interesting element to an outfit.
