I just finished day three of fashion week and before I leave for another exciting day of running around the city, I thought I’d give you all a run down on some of the shenanigans of the past day.
After grabbing some food with Camille, Linda, Phillip and I headed over to the Tim Hamilton presentation in Chelsea…ironically it was at the same place as the Rag and Bone show of the previous day, which I got extremely lost trying to find. Anyway, the clothes were remarkable, a spin on classic boasting lots of layered pieces with structured, geometric takes. (also lots of extremely sheer drop crotch pants) However, it was a little distracting to pay attention to the clothes when you are being made to stare at slightly intoxicated male models, balancing their beers and awkward dance-like movements more or less in sync with the DJ.
After Tim Hamilton, I met up with Chictopia intern Lily for Miss Sixty. The show itself was fun, with great lighting, hot models and pulsating music. On the other hand, the clothes themselves had me quite often thinking ohmygosh no. Graphic
tees pants? Acid wash denim drop crotch jumpsuits? Really?
