I have always loved vintage-inspired looks. My own wedding was based on this concept… For example I transformed a real vintage hat into a birdcage-esqe veil, I wore lace gloves, and my dress was the product of a classic mermaid-style obsession I had for years previously. Needless to say, pinup styles are one of my favorite genres to draw ideas from and incorporate into my own style. I like to modernize such looks just enough to make them my own as well as wearable today. All that to say, I found the most gorgeous vintage pin-up site and I’m hooked! Unique Vintage carries the perfect unique clothing — dresses, swimwear, accessories… everything needed for the vintage-obsessed girl like me! The dress that immediately won my heart was the glamorous “Top Ship Shape” pencil dress. I paired it here with red lips, the perfect leopard & red shoes, and a messy curled updo for a little modernization.
