Corpse Bride

I’m happy that I finally have a chance to share my Halloween costume from this year with all of you.

This dress is actually just a ballgown skirt that I already had in my closet. I crafted the top from a simple stretchy camisole I found at TJ Maxx for $5. Then it was off to JoAnn Fabric for lovely bits of chiffon & tulle in shades of gray, lilac and violet. I hand sewed the flowers then used a glue gun to affix to the cami. Not the most permanent bond but it did the trick for an evening’s worth of wear. I finished it off with a floral belt from J.Crew.
