




Not wearing denim on denim used to be one of those sacred edicts of fashion — like not wearing white after Labor Day. Those who broke these edicts risked being branded as a bounder… but what were rules made for if not to be broken? There’s so many fresh ways to mix and match denim today — my favorite is with a trusty chambray shirt.
In addition to mixing these denim washes, I decided to menswear it up, with a cravat-like scarf, suspenders, and aviator jacket, which carried me from hiking, reading, housework, to an evening out on the town. Voila.
