The now seemingly omnipresent camouflage jacket is one of my favourite F/W 2012 trends & I had been looking for the perfect one for a very long time when, finally, I found it while browsing through racks of oddly coloured 90s parkas in Brick Lane. Luckily for me, my dream jacket cost merely £10 and had the Dutch flag stitched onto its sleeve – that’s as politically neutral as they come, really… I think this must be a sign that I should quickly book a ticket to Amsterdam – my friend Steph and I have been talking about visiting the Netherlands for several months and perhaps the time has come!
As a proud owner of an iPhone 4S, I take outrageous quantities of Instagram photos – you can follow me, if you so desire, but I only recommend doing so if you are genuinely interested in painstakingly thorough documentation of my lunches. I decided to be creative with it though, which has led to the creation of all the photos you can see in this post. And what better place to take hipster photos than one of the Old Vic Tunnels with its fantastic graffiti? Many thanks to Julia for putting up with me yelling things like “that’s too blurry”, “why does the kakadu look more attractive than me?” and “y u takin’ so long?” – much appreciated.
