This picture is from last summer. It took me several months to realize how I miss it, to realize how bloody FREE I used to be then. Now I’m stuck in a reality and in a society full of people ready to criticize everything I say and do, if of course I don’t do it their way. Stuck in a society full of people that hate everything and everyone who’s just a little different than them in their way of thinking, of acting, even of dressing. We want to be called modern people but, apparently modern doesn’t mean allowing everyone to be different. It means worshiping a system that has as its main goal to murder every sign of imagination and replace it with productivity and misery. I even hear people around me say “Why do we need peace?” And that’s the world I live in. A world where people don’t need peace, love, democracy, art, poetry and music. Should I be happy? NO. So sue me.
The concept of the outfit has nothing to do with my little unimportant outburst, I just picked this picture because it reminded me of summer, a season when people forget about their differencies and love a little more, or even pretend to. Because it’s a season when the sun and the sea connect us… in a way.
Have a peaceful day.
